We have added Vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol) to our DHA+EPA product.

There are two reasons to why Testa adds extra vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol) to the product DHA+EPA:

1) Essential fatty acids are vulnerable for oxidation and Vitamin E protects the product against this since vitamin E functions as an antioxidant;

2) When the free radicals (pro-oxidants) outnumber the antioxidants, this can lead to a state called oxidative stress. Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
