The microalgae Schizochytrium sp. is a natural strain which is optimized by classical selection and screening methods. There are no methods to match the genetic modification. Furthermore, there are no ingredients in Testa that are genetically engineered. 


A modified corn starch (E1440) is used to make the gel capsule. This corn starch (Hydropropylated starch) is not genetically modified but just modified to obtain more amylopektin than the natural starch. It acts as a thickening agent for the material of the capsule.
